Immerhin der Zwergplanet, der hinsichtlich Gr&ouml;&szlig;e und Masse Pluto gleichsteht. Zudem ein neuer Horizont.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: moz-fixed;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">Ich habe nun einen Artikel zum Projekt Lyra gefunden (<\/span><\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/danielmarin.naukas.com\/2022\/01\/18\/proyecto-lyra-2-0-una-sonda-para-visitar-%CA%BBoumuamua-en-2050\/\">https:\/\/danielmarin.naukas.com\/2022\/01\/18\/proyecto-lyra-2-0-una-sonda-para-visitar-%ca%bboumuamua-en-2050\/<\/a><span style=\"font-family: moz-fixed;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">), bei dem es darum geht, dem Asteroiden Oumuamua 2028 mit dem SLS eine Sonde hinterher zu schicken. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><em><span style=\"font-family: moz-fixed;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">Zentraler Punkt ist ein naher Vorbeiflug an Jupiter, wo mittels einer zweistufigen Feststoffraktete nochmals beschleunigt wird. (Sie haben ja selbst bereits einen Artikel zum Thema Beschleunigung in Jupiter- oder Sonnenn&auml;he verfasst.)<\/span><\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: moz-fixed;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">Mit der Tabelle Ankunfts- Abflugsgeschwindigkeit und Delta V komme ich zwar nicht so ganz klar, weil mir das mathematische Grundverst&auml;ndnis fehlt. Ehrlich gesagt halte ich den Plan auch f&uuml;r wenig gewinnbringend, vor allem im Verh&auml;ltnis Kosten-Nutzen und der langen Flugzeit.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: moz-fixed;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">Aber was ich wirklich f&uuml;r interessant finde, ist eine Mission zu Eris, die wohl nur auf diese Weise umgesetzt werden kann. Eine Sonde, deren Ergebnisse mit denen von New Horizons vergleichbar sein sollten, gestartet auf einer Ariane 64, Falcon 9 Heavy oder New Glenn (bitte nicht mit einer Vega oder Sojus). Eine Sonde, die nicht mehr als 10 Jahre unterwegs sein sollte oder alternativ Eris m&ouml;glich schnell erreichen sollte (bevor vielleicht die Chinesen dort sind).<\/span><\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: moz-fixed;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">W&auml;re doch ein interessantes Thema?<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><em><span style=\"font-family: moz-fixed;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">Beste Gr&uuml;&szlig;e<\/span><\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: moz-fixed;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">Peter Stohl<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><em><span style=\"font-family: moz-fixed;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">Besuchen Sie meinen Blog &#8222;Einsam liegen die Gr&auml;ber&#8220;<\/span><\/span><\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peter-stohl.de\/blog\"><span style=\"font-family: moz-fixed;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"de-DE\">www.peter-stohl.de\/blog<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ich wollte zuerst kurz antworten, was ich da schreiben w&uuml;rde kommt noch, aber da ich sowieso kein Blogthema im Kopf habe, habe ich es trotzdem aufgegriffen. Peter Stohl bezieht sich auf fr&uuml;here Blogs, ohne einen zu nennen, ich habe das Thema m&ouml;glichst schnell zu einem entfernten Ziel &ouml;fters behandelt z.B. hier mit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bernd-leitenberger.de\/blog\/2019\/05\/18\/mit-safe-zur-heliopause\/\">nuklearer Stromversorgung und Ionenantrieb<\/a> und hier der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bernd-leitenberger.de\/blog\/2017\/02\/04\/die-loesung-fuer-ein-ueberfluessiges-problem-jupiter-oder-die-sonne\/\">Umweg &uuml;ber die Sonne<\/a>. Der spanische Blog referiert einen <a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/2201.04240.pdf\">A<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/2201.04240.pdf\">rtikel<\/a> der zwei Missionswege vorschl&auml;gt, die 22 bzw. 26 Jahre dauern.<\/p>\n<p>Fangen wir mal mit der kurzen Antwort an, die auch Peter Stohl erhalten h&auml;tte, wenn ich keine Lust f&uuml;r Berechnungen gehabt h&auml;tte. Daf&uuml;r braucht man auch keine, es reicht Sondendaten im Kopf zu behalten oder nachzuschlagen. Dazu vergleicht man einfach das Ziel Eris mit einer m&ouml;glichst &auml;hnlichen Mission, das w&auml;re hier nat&uuml;rlich <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bernd-leitenberger.de\/new-horizons3.shtml\">New Horizons<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Erist ist nach dem <a href=\"https:\/\/ssd.jpl.nasa.gov\/horizons\/app.html#\/\">Horizons Webinterface<\/a> zwischen 2022 und 2042 zwischen 14,3 und 14 Mrd. km von der Sonne entfernt. New Horizons brauchte 9,5 Jahre um eine Distanz von 5 Mrd. km zu erreichen (Plutovorbeiflug) und 13 Jahre um 6,6 Mrd. km Distanz zu erreichen, <a href=\"http:\/\/pluto.jhuapl.edu\/Mission\/Where-is-New-Horizons.php\">heute<\/a>, 16 Jahre nach dem Start ist sie 7.854 Milionen km entfernt. Man kann daraus errechnen, dass sie f&uuml;r die Entfernung von Eris etwa 28 Jahre ben&ouml;tigt.<\/p>\n<p>Da kommen wir in ein Problem, das weniger die Technik betrifft \u2013 es gibt eine Reihe von Sonden und Satelliten die &uuml;ber 20 Jahre arbeiten und die einzigen Teile die dauernd arbeiten, sind Sender\/Empf&auml;nger und Elektronik, die kann man redundant auslegen. Es ist ein zu langer Zeitraum f&uuml;r einen Wissenschaftler. Hinter jeder Sonde und vor allem hinter jedem Experiment stecken Wissenschaftler die f&uuml;r dieses Ziel, dieses Experiment, diese Untersuchung eintreten. Den Vorschlag bei der Raumfahrtagentur machen und aktiv Werbung f&uuml;r eine Mission machen. Sie werden dann auch zum Prinicpal Investigator (PI). Bis man diese Status erreicht hat, hat man schon in der Wissenschaft einige Berge erklommen und ist nicht am Anfang seiner Karriere. <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Carolyn_Porco\">C<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Carolyn_Porco\">a<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Carolyn_Porco\">royln Po<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Carolyn_Porco\">r<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Carolyn_Porco\">co<\/a> ist ein relativ bekannter PI, die auch oft im Fernsehen auftritt. Porco ist 1953 geboren, war 1981 beteiligt an der Auswertung der Voyagerbilder, damals noch als Doktorrand. Als 1989 Cassini beschlossen wurde, war sie 36, und sie wurde sp&auml;ter Leiterin des Imageing Teams bis Cassini 2018 deorbitiert wurde. Das ist eine lange Zeit fast 30 Jahre. Aber davon entfielen 14 auch auf die Forschung am Saturn. Nun stelle man sich vor, man m&uuml;sste so lange warten, bis die Sonde &uuml;berhaupt am Ziel ist, die Jahre vorher, in denen man sie erst baut und das Experiment entwirft kommen noch dazu. Jeder der &uuml;ber 35 ist, wenn das Projekt genehmigt wird, w&auml;re beim Vorbeiflug in Rente. Bis er 35 ist, hat er in der Regel aber nicht die Stellung um PI zu werden. Ich glaube, heute wartet niemand so lange, dann wird auch niemand f&uuml;r eine solche Sonde bei ESA oder NASA eintreten. Und die Bereitschaft den ganzen b&uuml;rokratischen Aufwand und die Arbeit bei der Entwicklung auf sich zu nehmen und ein anderer ist dann aktiv, wenn die Daten wirklich flie&szlig;en, also sich f&uuml;r etwas einzusetzen von dem man selbst nichts hat, sch&auml;tze ich nicht besonders hoch ein. Das war im Mittelalter bei dem Bau von Kirchen, der sich &uuml;ber Generationen hinzog noch anders.<\/p>\n<p>De zweite Grund ist technischer Natur. Eris ist fast dreimal so weit von der Sonne entfernt wie Pluto. Es wird nur eine Vorbeiflugmission sein, die Geschwindigkeit relativ zu Eris kann man mit heutiger Technologie nicht in ertr&auml;glicher Zeit abbauen. Dann passiert die Sonde aber Eris mindestens genauso schnell wie Pluto, nur sind wegen der gr&ouml;&szlig;eren Entfernung alle Belichtungszeiten nochmals viel l&auml;nger. New Horizons musste trotz lichtempfindlichem CCD Chip schon bei Pluto 200 ms lang belichten, bei Eris w&auml;ren es &uuml;ber 1,6 Sekunden. Da betrifft auch Spektrometer, man w&uuml;rde also erheblich weniger Daten gewinnen. Man kann dies schon bei den Aufnahmen von Ultima Thule und Pluto sehen, vergleicht man diese, so sind die ersteren aus gr&ouml;&szlig;erer Entfernung schon deutlich verrauschter. Ob man so lange Belichtungszeiten mit variierender Relativbewegung des K&ouml;rpers &uuml;berhaupt umsetzen kann ohne das die Bilder verschmieren ist auch offen.<\/p>\n<p>Kurz: ich halte den Aufwand f&uuml;r zu gro&szlig;, das Ergebnis f&uuml;r zu mager.<\/p>\n<p>Das w&auml;re die kurze Antwort, ich habe mich trotzdem mal hingesetzt eine solche Mission zu berechnen. Es gibt zig M&ouml;glichkeiten, die meisten wie multiple Swing-Bys im inneren Sonnensystem kann ich mit meinem Programm nicht berechnen, aber auch so bleiben noch viele Optionen &uuml;brig. Ich habe mich nur f&uuml;r zwei entschieden, mit einer kleinen Boost-M&ouml;glichkeit, zu der ich noch komme.<\/p>\n<p>Die M&ouml;glichkeiten sind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direkter Jupiter Transfer mit einer Falcon Heavy Centaur<\/li>\n<li>Direkter Jupiter Transfer mit einer Falcon Heavy Centaur + Star 37F Antrieb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ohne Centaur w&auml;re die Nutzlast der Falcon Heavy sehr gering bzw. die gew&uuml;nschte Startgeschwindigkeit zu klein. Als Masse f&uuml;r die Sonde habe ich 1.000 kg angesetzt. Wenn dann w&uuml;rde ich eine vollwertige Sonde mit einer ganzen Suite an Instrumenten auf den Weg bringen. Die kann dann anders als New Horizons auch noch das interplanetare und vielleicht sogar interstellare Medium untersuchen. Etwas mehr Gewicht brauche ich f&uuml;r den Ionenantrieb, das w&auml;re mein \u201eBoost\u201c-Faktor. Nebenbei macht bei 2.300 kg Trockenmasse der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bernd-leitenberger.de\/centaur.shtml\">Centaur<\/a> es praktisch keinen Unterschied die Sondenmasse auf etwa 500 kg zu verkleinern, weil dies kaum noch mehr Geschwindigkeit bringt, man beschleunigt ja die fast leere und viel schwerere Centaur mit.<\/p>\n<p>M&ouml;glichkeit 2 setzt eine Star 37 FM Oberstufe ein, die jedoch nicht beim Start, sondern erst bei Jupiter gez&uuml;ndet wird. Eine SLS w&auml;re viel zu teuer, ihre Startkosten werden derzeit mit rund 2 Milliarden Dollar angegeben.
